thi wurd hour returns this coming Sunday, 29 March 2026, 7-8pm (BST). As this is being announced at very short notice, it’ll be a chance to experience a much smaller class. We’ll talk about story-structure and write for at least 30 minutes. It’s a short session dedicated to creating a messy first draft (a draft zero) that can be edited and reworked later. It’s fast-drafting and a chance to learn more about improvisation. Maybe you have a story in mind? If so, this could be the inspiring atmosphere in which to begin it. Or you might want to write from the prompts that will be given out. It will happen fast and it’s all about your own writing.
Join us in this motivating space. And, as the class will be beamed to your computer from New York City, we are going to have a New York theme to our prompts.
Tickets are ridiculously cheap at £5. All money raised goes to supporting our live events.
