Between late August and early October, thi wurd presents four day schools that can be taken as a suite of classes or as individual standalone classes. These will be presented in-person (in Glasgow’s West End) and also online. The online sessions are available to writers anywhere in the world, and writers at all stages are very welcome.

Prices for these sessions are kept very low at £40 per day school, and for those signing up for all four there is a further saving of £30, taking the cost down to £130 for the suite of four classes (please be sure to book through the ‘suite link’ on the shop page to receive this special price. The special price is not available retrospectively).

NOTE: All the in-person classes will take place at accessible venues and will include breaks throughout the day. There are no refunds for these classes: however, we will endeavour to offer a free place on future courses to those who’ve booked but can’t make it along on the day. Numbers are limited to 22 participants for in-person and 18 for online.

TUTOR: All day schools and classes are hosted by Alan McMunnigall who previously taught Creative Writing & Literature at the University of Glasgow for 20 years. He is a literary editor and the founder of thi wurd.
