Earthly Rewards is published by thi wurd on 13th May 2024. Copies will be available ahead of this date at our live literary event ‘thi wurd presents Earthly Rewards’ on Friday 10th May 2024 at Glasgow University Union. Doors open 7pm, event starts 7.30pm, ticket price £10.

Copies are available to pre-order from today, Friday 12th April. They will be dispatched Monday 13th May 2024.

The new book is a beautiful production, printed in full-colour – our first colour publication since 2012 – and has been almost three years in the making. It has enough material to fill two books. In fact, I’ve been jokingly describing it as our ‘double-album’ akin to The Beatles’ White Album. The span and eclectic scope is certainly something to behold. It contains fifty-one pieces of fiction, poetry and experimental writing, including contributions from writers and artists in many different cities, countries and continents. It is a high-quality production, artfully curated, with the emphasis on wonderful storytelling.

Once again, we collaborate with artists Lorna Robertson and Andrew Cranston. This time it’s Lorna who provides the cover image, while Andy has created a sequence of new paintings that run throughout the book. I’m excited to hear what people think.
